First up the 2013 Toyota RAV4. Now with more spinning airbag. Yay!
Next up is the 2013 Volkswagen Beetle. Free dental extractions, drivers only.
Last up is the 2014 Kia Forte. I just love how the side curtain airbag punches the shit out of the dummy. My face! My beautiful face!!

Some idiot pedantry troll is gonna wander in here and correct you about the donkey punch thing. There's an army of people out there who correct for correctness sake, no matter how content-less, context-free, or moronically conversation breaking the correction itself is.
Just a heads-up.

Ya, you are right.

Why is the driver in the Beetle trying to adjust their side mirrors AFTER a crash?

So the spinning airbag. We saw that before, what's the deal? Is it spinning with the steering wheel which is being spun by the steering linkanges getting jammed and pulled and obliterated?

That's my guess.

I think so. You would think that there would be some sort of lock for the steering wheel when the airbag is deployed? Guess not.

Judging from those videos, atleast the RAV, it appears that the steering wheel isn't exactly immobile during a crash. So the airbag spins away or the entire colum is just pushed out of the way by the crunch. How do you ensure the head doesn't miss an airbag then? Overhead airbags that deploy straight down? Have multiple airbags that all deploy so that atleast one of them covers the angle your head will follow depending on direction of impact?
Also, I'd hate to be the one who has to clean up after each of these tests. What a mess.

The Beetle's curtain airbag never deployed.

you know, this is really eye opening in its own right, and it appears the 1 square inch that airbag doesn't explode out of, is exactly where there needs to be one in this type of crash.
